What's Happening This Weekend in Muskegon?


Winterfest 2007 is upon us again.  Visit Grand Haven, Michigan (just about 10 minutes south of Muskegon) for lots of winter fun.  Here is just a glimpse of the schedule for Winterfest 2007:

Thursday; 1/25 - $1 family ski & skate at Mulligan's Hollow.  Ice sculpting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Spring Lake Holiday Inn. 

Friday; 1/26 - Ice sculpting continues at Spring Lake Holiday Inn beginning at 11 a.m.  Take a look at the work of participants in the Winterfest Photography and poster contests.  Displays will be exhibited at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum in the Akeley building in downtown Grand Haven.

Saturday; 1/27 - The Family Dog Pull and the Cardboard Sled Race will take place at Mulligan's Hollow.  Ice sculpting, and photography/poster displays will continue.  There will also be many activities for the children, a bucket brigade and a luau.

More Hockey - On Saturday night the Muskegon Fury will challenge the Ft. Wayne Comets.  Game time is 7:30 p.m.  On Sunday afternoon it's The Fury vs. The Elmira Jackals.  Both games will be held at the home of The Fury - The LC Walker Arena in downtown Muskegon.
