Arena Football Kicking-Off in Muskegon
Well, we are all (especially my husband and I) sorry that Muskegon's attempt at having a semi-professional basketball team (the Mayhem) failed only after 2 seasons. Nevertheless, we are hopeful that the new arena football will have great success in our community.
The Muskegon Thunder will host a Kick Off Party on Saturday, March 17 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Great Lakes Downs. The public can come meet the team, dancers and register to win prizes. There will also be a moon walk, 50/50 raffle and photo opportunities.
The Muskegon Thunder will begin their first season as part of the CIFL (Continental Indoor Football League) later this month when they face off with the Wayne County Thunder in Wayne County. The first home game will be on Friday, April 13 @ 7:30 p.m. at the L.C. Walker Arena.
