What's Happening This Weekend in Muskegon?


Winterfest 2007 is upon us again.  Visit Grand Haven, Michigan (just about 10 minutes south of Muskegon) for lots of winter fun.  Here is just a glimpse of the schedule for Winterfest 2007:

Teen Bands Get Opportunity For Regional Exposure - Sign Up Now!


Muskegon is having it's own - "Muskegon Idol" competition so to speak.  This is a fantastic opportunity for teen bands to get exposure while helping to raise money for the Webster House - a safe haven for homeless youth.  Visit www.websterhouseyouthservices.org to download an entry form.  The deadline is 1/24 and band members must be under 18 to compete.

Muskegon Hockey - The four time colonial cup champion Muskegon Fury will play at home twice this weekend.  Friday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m., it's the Muskegon Fury vs. Rockford Icehogs, and on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m., the Muskegon Fury vs. Flint Generals.

International Auto Show in West Michigan


You don't have to go to Detroit to experience the auto show.  Come over to Grand Rapids (just 45 minutes southeast of Muskegon) for the 37th Annual AutoRama at Devos Place.  In addition to auto exhibits, there will be a low rider bicycle show, antique car displays, and super/monster trucks.  Entertainment will include Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick, Detroit Tigers Pitcher Nate "Gumtime" Robertson, WWE Superstar Torrie Wilson and the Magic of Curt.

What's Happening This Weekend in Muskegon?


The Buster Blues band will be performing at the Alley Door Club in the Hilt building in downtown Muskegon on Friday night at 7 p.m. Access to the club is through the Frauenthal Theater elevator, exit at the third floor.  Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased at the door.
