The Upper Crust-Authentic Neapolitan Pizzas in Boston
The popularity of pizzas in the USA dates back to the end of World War II, when soldiers brought back this delicacy from Italy. The popularity of this food can be seen by the sheer number of pizzerias in most cities and towns. ‘The Upper Crust' is one such restaurant, founded by Jordan Tobins about five years ago in the Beacon Hill area of Boston. There are now several ‘Upper Crust' restaurants in Boston-my personal favorite is the Havard Street branch. Their pizzas are truly mouthwatering- made of a thin-crusted base with a wide range of toppings. I often order a Margherita base with additional toppings of mushrooms and peppers. What is so unique about this pizzeria? Their Neapolitan style pizzas are truly authentic-great tasting pizzas served in a friendly atmosphere-simple with no fuss! Since relocating to Boston, many Bostonians have told me that this really is the best pizzeria in town. If my burgeoning waistline is anything to go by, then I certainly agree!
