Pet Friendly Hotel ~ Boston
Greetings Bloggers! Welcome to 2007, I hope that this finds you all doing well. Today my canine friend and I would like to tell you about one of the many pet-friendly hotels in the city, the Sheraton Boston Hotel on Dalton Street. Friends and I enjoyed an overnight stay there at the beginning of December, and it was wonderful.
If you're reading this post, you're probably a pet lover, so let's get right to it. In order to stay at the Sheraton Boston, the weight guideline for pets is 80 pounds or less. When making your reservation, it is recommended that you inform the hotel that you will have a "pet guest" along with you. There is no additional deposit upfront, but you will be responsible if Fido or Foofoo does any damage during your stay. Additionally, you should not leave your pet(s) unattended while you are out of the hotel. They want to enjoy the action, too, so bring a leash and let them enjoy the sights, sounds, and especially the smells from the wonderful restaurants in Boston. "Bone-appetit" is how I heard one dog tell it.
In addition to being pet-friendly, the Sheraton Boston is a lovely hotel. It has an elegant entrance with dark woods, a marble floor, and large, floral centerpieces on decorative tables. The guest rooms are very comfortable, with great views of the city, and the staff is courteous and helpful. To top it off, the hotel is in an ideal location within the city of Boston. It has an indoor walkway that connects it to over 200 shopping locations at The Shops at Prudential and Copley Place, and it is also connected to the Hynes Convention Center. Newbury Street, the Charles River and Fenway Park (Go Sox!) are all within walking distance, and Logan airport is only four miles away. So load up your furry friends and come spend a few nights in Boston. It'll be the cat's meow!
