If you live in Ocean City or vacation there, I'm sure you're familiar with Trimper Rides on the Boardwalk. After 117 years of operating in Ocean City, they are considering closing due to ridiculously high tax assessments and disagreements with shareholders. Their tax bill increased $387,000 last year and an additional $914,000 this year!

Crusin' Ocean City

The 17th Annual Crusin' Ocean City will take place May 17th through 20th, 2007. This is quite an event in Ocean City with over 3,000 hot rods, customs, muscle cars, classics and street machines coming to Ocean City.

The Ocean City Reef Foundation is holding their Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 5 to 8 pm at Hall's Restaurant at 5909 Coastal Highway. Ocean City has several options for visitors that prefer not to drive. The Boardwalk Tram provides service to the entire boardwalk. There is a depot at the Inlet and at 27th Street, but you can board or get off anywhere you choose.
