Ocean City's Air Show

Ocean City will be hosting the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the USMC Harrier Demo June 12 th through June 14th 2009. The events will take place from noon to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday with rehearsal day on Friday. All events will be visible from the entire length of the boardwalk. Bring your sand chairs and spend the day on the beach watching demonstrations by the U.S. Navy F- 18 Hornet and A-10 Warthog, close formation flying teams and civilian aerobatic performers.

The U.S. Army Golden Knights will be performing a night jump over Show Center Beach (16^th Street) on Friday evening during the Take-Off Party.

There will also be interactive displays and exhibits and NASA's Exploration Experience which will be open to the public on the streets surrounding 16^th Street and the Boardwalk.

The Harrier will be participating in only 10 shows this season with only one being waterfront and that place is Ocean City, Maryland. So don't miss out on this exciting show!

I was so excited to hear Ocean City will once again host an air show. I was lucky enough to attend last year's event and was thrilled and entertained by the numerous performances. I've been to many airshows that couldn't hold a candle to this event held on the beach. Do your self a favor and plan to attend you won't be sorry you did!
