Ravens Parade in Ocean City

If you're missing the excitement of a Raven's football game, or the color purple, you'll get plenty of both this weekend in Ocean City. The Council of Baltimore Ravens Roost Annual Parade begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 2nd. The two-hour parade will feature Ravens players, cheerleaders, mascots, marching bands and floats.

Ocean City's Amateur Angler Fishing Contest



 For the 27th year, weekly contests, open to visitors and local anglers fishing in the bays and ocean of Ocean City, officially began on May 21st at 12:01 am and will run weekly until Sunday, September 2nd at midnight.

Save Trimper Rides!



If you live in Ocean City or vacation there, I'm sure you're familiar with Trimper Rides on the Boardwalk. After 117 years of operating in Ocean City, they are considering closing due to ridiculously high tax assessments and disagreements with shareholders. Their tax bill increased $387,000 last year and an additional $914,000 this year!
