Board Walkin' For Pets in Ocean City
The 8th Annual Board Walkin' for Pets will be held on Saturday, Aril 28th from 9 am to noon starting at the Inlet on the Boardwalk. Money raised will benefit the Worcester County Humane Society.
If you'd like to participate, go to the Inlet in front of Harrison's Harbor Watch at 9 am. If you don't have your own dog to walk, you can adopt a shelter dog for the day. ( Call 410-213-0146 to make arrangements to adopt a dog or for more information.)
You can choose from a 2 1/2- mile course or a five-mile course. If you raise $15 in pledges you will receive a Dog Walk bandana. Pledges of $50 will receive a Dog Walk T-shirt and over $100 in pledges will be given a travel water bowl.
So your feline won't feel left out (not that I think they care!), bring a photo of your kitty to the walk. A special prize will be awarded to the cutest cat. The walk takes place rain or shine.
