Delmarva Birding Weekend
The Delmarva Peninsula is recognized as a migratory hot spot for birds flying north from the Southern United States, Central America and the Carribbean in the spring because it's on the Mid-Atlantic Flyway. Many birds will take their first rest stop after a long flight on the Peninsula.
This year the Delmarva Birding Weekend is being held April 26th -29th. The weekend will include walking tours, boat trips, bike rides and canoeing and kayaking trips. You can also attend the birding socials aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, the Angler Restaurant and the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.
