Shopping In Ocean City, Maryland

If you like to shop, there are plenty of factory outlet stores in Ocean City and Rehobeth Beach.

The Ocean City Factory Outlets are located on Route 50, just ½ mile from the Rt. 50 bridge. During the summer season, a free shuttle service is available that picks up shoppers in front of many of the hotels in Ocean City. Check the schedule on their website or pick up a flyer at the Convention Center with the pick-up times and locations.

Some of the stores you'll find at the Factory Outlet Center are: GAP, Sunglass Hut, Dress Barn, Van Heusen, Bass, Carter's for Kids, Wilsons Leather, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Reebock, Wicker Outlet, Motherhood Maternity, IZOD, Harry and David and OshKosh B'Gosh.

If you get hungry, you can dine at the Outback Steakhouse, Mione's Italian Restaurant, Sakura's Japanese Steak & Seafood or Salsarita's Fresh Cantina. There is also a Super Fresh grocery store and movie theater on the premises.

The outlets are closed on major holidays. For more information and shuttle schedule go to

Delmarva's largest outlet center is located in Rehobeth Beach, about 30 minutes to 45 minutes North of Ocean City on Rt. 1. In a 2 mile stretch of Route 1, there are over 130 outlets and shopping at the Tanger Outlet Centers. Shopping in Delaware is tax-free! For more information go to www.tangeroutlet.com

I love the Osh kosh outlet. They have GREAT deals. The clothes last forever and the quality is excellent too.

Pick up a frequent shopper card while there that can be used at many of the OC outlet stores. The discounts vary by store and all the terms are listed on the card.
