As we rolled into Ocean City last Thursday night, we stopped at Coins Pub & Restaurant on Coastal Highway and 28th Street. I was in the mood for a good crab cake. I like a crab cake that is made with crab lumps and virtually no filler, and Coins served me exactly that.

Thursday night, my husband and I met some friends at Outriggers in Fenwick Island. We were all there to enjoy Outriggers' burger night. One of the largest Kite festivals in the U.S.A. will be taking place in Ocean City, Maryland from April 25th through April 27th, 2008. The event takes place between 1st Street and 6th Street on the Boardwalk. Ocean City's Sunset Park will become an Italian block party on Monday, August 27th. The evening will include Italian food, music by the Monaldi Brothers and a beer and wine garden.
The event is free and runs from 6 to 10 pm. Sunset Park is located south of the Rt. 50 bridge toward the Inlet. Parking is available in the municipal lots opposite the park.
