Towson's main music venue is the Recher Theater, next door to the Rec Room which is a popular bar and pool hall for local college students. The theater tends to attract a younger crowd, high school and college kids mostly. Upcoming shows include Flyleaf, Godhead, Lennex, Cinder Road, and a Sublime Tribute band called Badfish. Occasionally you will get some big names there but you have to stay up to date on upcoming shows which can be found on their website. No drinking in the theater, but you can always pregame at Rec Room or one of the many other bars surrounding. Tickets can be bought next door to the theater at the Rec Room, on ticketmaster, or online.
