Louisville Slugger Museum

It's going...going...gone!  Downtown, baby!

Anyone who's ever dreamed of hitting one over the back fence is going to enjoy the Louisville Slugger Museum in Downtown Louisville.   Heck, I get excited about it, and I've never even played in more than an intramural college league.

Of special interest to Charles Schultz fan, Peanuts at Bat is on exhibit until September 16, but before you even reach the exhibit hall, you'll get to run the bases, see how and where bats are made, and view one of Babe Ruth's own baseball bats, right before your very eyes.  The tour guides are friendly & knowledgeable - they love baseball!

This is a must-see for any out-of-town visitor.  Just look for the big bat on Main Street!   You'll get a kick out of the neighboring big ball (it's a glass company) and the "other" big bat (novelty store), as well.
