23rd Annual Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair, June 9-10
What: 23rd Annual Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair
The Printers Row Book Fair is the largest outdoor literary event in the Midwest. The fair features panels and events on 11 stages devoted to themes such as children's lit, poetry, and cookbooks (with live demonstrations). Browse and buy new, used, and antique books; check out the impressively long list of visiting authors, and stay after readings to get your book signed. If you're feeling competitive, enter the American Heritage Dictionary Define-a-thon. Or further test your nerd-factor by theorizing on the final book in J.K. Rowling's series with the award-winning makers of PotterCast, a Harry Potter podcast.
