Keneke's the place for delicious plate lunches and more
Last summer I was riding the bus through Waimanalo with a coworker. She pointed to a small white building that didn't look like much and told me the food there was really good. I don't get to that part of the island often. A couple months later I was driving around and rememberd the little place my coworker reccommended. I wanted to stop by and see if it was as good as she said.
Keneke's is locacted in Waimanalo on Kalanianaole Hwy. Don't let the looks fool you, they serve delicious plate lunches at resonable prices starting at $4.75 for a mini plate. Bedsides plate lunches of all varieties they serve breakfast, sandwhiches, shave ice, ice cream, and smoothies.
I like to try different things but so far my favorite is the teri chicken plate. My friend always gets the Kailua pig and will order nothing else. My co worker made a very good reccommendation. They also do catering. If you're looking for tasty food try Keneke's.
