13th Annual Honolulu Festival
It's not too late to take advantage of the 13th annual Honolulu Festival. The festival started March 9th and will end Sunday the 11th. The festival showcases Japanese culture in particular , but also includes Hawaii and other Pacific Rim cultures. The festival is held at various locations; the convention center, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki and culminates in a big parade in Waikiki. Admission is free for all locations.
In the convention center you can find various events such as a craft fair, performances and exhibitions. Visit the center stage at Ala Moana Center for music and dance performances including hula. You'll also see perfomances at Waikiki Beach Walk. Sunday is the grand parade on Kalakaua Ave from 4:30-8pm.
