Evil Shrimp are sizzling hot in Kaimuki. Siam Palace is a quaint Thai restaurant near the corner of Waialae and 8th Avenue. The atmosphere is comfortable and so are the prices. All dishes range from $7-$12 making it about $10 per person. For such a family style dining setting they have an extensive menu with everything from salad to curry and everything Thai you would expect to have. The food has a fresh quality and you can expect to leave feeling satisfied and not stuffed. If you're looking for a home cooked meal and don't want to do it yourself then this is your place.
The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol so feel free to BYOB, but if you forget don't fret. There's a liquor store just across the street. No need for reservations.
