Kennedy Snafu Revisited

For those of you who are still trying to figure out how to get around Kenndy to get downtown, the easiest way is to go left on Howard to right on Cass.

To get to points north, take MacDill to Columbus and catch Florida - or MacDill further up and go from there.

Coming from N. Tampa, just take Tampa Street (if you are in the habit of taking Tampa Street to downtown), then bypass all the Kennedy stuff by cutting across MLK to MacDill. Not as fast as going through downtown, but it'll get you there.

Well, it's finally fixed - as of some time last week - I can finally go my normal route. I had to actually drive those routes to make sure the routes did not cut off like they are so apt to do in certain areas of Tampa.

The one time I did drive through Hyde Park, I got routed around more construction. While the construction had started just before my first post on it, I hadn't driven alternate routes, and did not have time to mess with different ones - so the one I found that day was just as bad (Hyde Park) so it did not get posted!
