Check out the cars at Nightshift
The Bay area has been blessed with major attractions and events. With the Air Fest, the Renaissance Festival, the Honda Grand Prix, and there are more on the way. One event to take note of is the Nightshift: A New Dawn of Motorsports. This will take place at the Tropicana Field on April 14th from 4PM until 11PM.
The major appeal of this event to a young woman with no interest in cars is the fact that rap sensation Pitbull will be performing. His songs have mainstream appeal now, and he can be frequently heard on top 40 radio. Songs such as “Bojangles,” “Tell Me,” and “Ay Chico” are often spun in the clubs. He even remade the Stevie B classic “Spring Love” to bring an updated vibe to the song.
If you are not into the musical styling of Pitbull, be sure to check out the various exhibits set up around the park. There will be drift demos, which show drivers “drifting” out of control. If you have seen Fast and the Furious, you will be sure to understand what this concept means. There will also be sport bike demonstrations and a Subaru Rally demonstration. And, of course, you cannot forget about the car models.
Since the Tampa Bay area is so lucky to have all of these major events in our backyard, we need to make sure to check them out and not take advantage of how lucky we are to live in a city with so much to do.
