Happy Hour Destinations

There are many options for the after work crowd, yet none have been as much fun as Bar Louie. Located in Bay Street at International Plaza, this bar is the place for happy hour.

Large flat screen televisions line the inside and outside patio seating areas, always showing the latest in sports news. Friendly staff and upbeat music accompany a menu full of delicious food. From typical appetizers like quesadillas and spinach dip to specialty entrees like their ranchero enchiladas and blackened chicken breast—there is something for everyone.

Obviously food is not the only option of this happy hour destination. They have over thirty-five bottled and draft beers, specialty martinis, and a list of wines that are available by the glass or by the bottle. The martinis are a hit at happy hour, as they are half price. My favorite martini is called the strawberry fizz, as seen in the picture. It tastes like a strawberry daiquiri, but this drink is no typical martini. It features Stoli strawberry vodka, Bailey’s strawberry puree, and Dekupyer’s Razzmatazz. A splash of champagne adds an extra kick that makes this bar stand alone from the rest.

Bar Louie

An extra bonus that Bar Louie offers lies in the evenings on Tuesdays. Beginning at 5PM, dollar burgers can be had with any beverage purchase. Toppings are additional, but it is a total bargain when you can eat at International Plaza’s Bay Street for less than ten dollars. Fries or tater tots can be added as a side for $2.99. Get yourself a half-price martini or $3 draft beer, and your happy hour experience cannot be beat.

Bar Louie is located in between the Cheesecake Factory and Blue Martini. This happy hour destination will surely be a hit amongst your coworkers.
