$10 or Less-- Kids Firehouse Museum
$10 or Less is a regular feature that highlights fun things to do in the Tampa Bay area that cost no more than $10 per person--and usually much less.
Anyone who has children known one thing for certain: Kids love fire trucks. They like the design, the sounds and the colors of a giant truck.
The Kids Firehouse Museum in Largo doesn't have a fire truck--they have 12 of them, and not a fire in sight. Instead, it's a place for kids to play, look and learn. They can hear about fire safety tips, watch a video and play on a playground.
Best of all, the museum is absolutely free to attend. They do accept donations, so give them a little something and let your kids enjoy themselves while they learn about safety in a fun environment.
The Kids Firehouse Museum is located at 9510 Kids Firehouse Ave. They're open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Admission is free, but they do accept donations. For more information, call 727-585-1300.
