A Hidden Coral, in the Heart of Tampa
Saturday my significant other, and I, ventured out on a adventure under the sea, above the sea. The Florida Aquarium! Packed full of sticky children, so I'd suggest not going on a weekend. If your someone with one of those sticky little guys, I'd still suggest going on a weekday. Kids were pushing and shoving all over the place to pet the fish, see the pengiun show, be in the otter show. Best to go when there's less of a crowd.
Anyhow, the Aquarium itself, is quite spectacular. Filled with several different animals, not just fish, otters, penguins, and sharks also call this place home. Two stories filled with various exhibits, like wetlands, and oceanic room, and my favorite of all, the Seahorse Exhibit! There are several feeding and diving shows throughout the day, as well as a cute penguin show, and a very imformative otter show, not to mention a death defying shark dive show!

I had a great experience and look forward to my next trip. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was a cool getaway.
There's also a cafe with sandwhiches and various foods located inside, a giftshop, and a small children's waterpark outside.
It's about 18$ for adult tickets.

Tip: Directly accross from the Aquarium entrance, there is "Discount Tickets" type store. If you go there for aquarium tickets, you dont have to wait in lines, plus the tickets are $14, $4 cheaper than normal entrance.
