Start Your Engines - Grand Prix Races Through St. Pete


Welcome race fans! St. Petersburg (only 20 minutes from Tampa) welcomes the 2007 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, March 30 - April 1. This official Indy event is a street race which runs through part of downtown and along the beautiful St. Petersburg waterfront.

Indy Racing League (IRL)competitors come from all over the world to compete including Dan Wheldon, Danica Patrick, Dario Franchitti, Tony Kanaan and Marco Andretti.

ACC Basketball Bounces Into Tampa


Are you ready for some awesome college basketball?

The 54th Annual ACC Men's Basketball Tournament rolls into Tampa Thursday, March 8 through Sunday, March 11 2007. All games will be played at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.  Teams particpating in the Tournament include: Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
