Abstract Art Show
If you are looking for art from local Florida artists, then you should be very interested in what The Great Frame Up of St. Petersburg has for you. While opening two stores simultaneously, the owners have managed to compile a group of artists, some established and some starting off, that have used a variety of mediums, from glass to resin. Their first show of the year opened on the 1st of March, will remain for two weeks, and then be transfered to The Great Frame Up's South Tampa location, where it will also be for two weeks. It will then be rotated one last time to the company's Wesley Chapel location for the last two weeks of the month. They will begin a new show in April, and every month after that.
St. Petersburg is home to an array of artist and art venues. This is just one of the many opportunites this city has to offer. These shows are free and the people are nice and want to get to know you. I recommend attending the grand openings because those are the nights you are able to meet the artists, the owners of The Great Frame Up, and enjoy a nice glass of wine through the whole experience.
