Woody's Waterfront Cafe' and Beach Bar


Woody's is a popular hang out for locals and visitors that return year after year.  I met friends there tonight for fun and we enjoyed their great cheeseburgers and spicy wings.  They like to advertise that they are "so close to the water that your burger might get wet."  That is absolutely true.

Fort De Soto Park

Tuesday, I spent the afternoon enjoying Fort De Soto Park.  It was named America's #1 Beach in 2005.  The sand looks white like flour or sugar and extends for miles.  There is an actual fort here. The original structure, features canons and a museum that can be explored for free.  Fort De Soto is listed with the National Registry of Historic Places.

Spring Training


It's a fantastic time to come to St. Petersburg.  It is the perfect location to use as home base to attend the Grapefruit League Games.
