Cypress Gardens was the dream of Dick Pope and his wife Julie Pope and was created in 1936, more than 70 years ago from what was once nothing but swamp. Cypress Gardens stands out from other theme parks because it features some of the most beautiful plants, tree and flowers in the world.
Cypress Gardens has an area that is called Snively Plantation and it where you will find the four different gardens of Cypress. The four gardens include a butterfly garden which features all the beautiful flowers and plants that attract butterflies, vegetable, herb and rose gardens. Once you get inside there are gorgeous water fountains surrounding by green shrubs and a break taking waterfall that provides a memorable backdrop to compliment all of the surrounding green areas.
