Which Cici's Pizza is the Best?
There is one subject where it is always best to ask the locals: where to eat. There are tons of unique restaurants and bars in Orlando, but there are also the same chains you have in your hometown. The question is though "Which chain location is the best?"
Take Cici's Pizza for example (http://www.cicispizza.com). There were at least five locations that I knew of in Orlando.. and then I searched in the website's store locator and I found out there were at least 10 in the local area. 10 locations.. and which one is truly the best to go to??
Out of these 10 locations, I myself have frequented four particular locations.
Location#1 - By the airport.
4538 South Semoran Blvd
Ste 19
Orlando, FL 32822-
This Cici's Pizza is actually right down the street from the Orlando International Airport (the left hand side of the road when coming from the airport). The food as usual was delicious, but the location has left much to desired. One time my brother and I were eating there and we both had to use the restrooms. After we both came back to the table the first thing we each said to each other was "Wow.. the bathrooms are nicer than the restaurant." It also seems that more than the usual amount of creepies frequent this location.
Plus: food is good, there is indeed pasta and alfredo sauce (my favorite part of the buffet) and the price is the cheapest for Cici's that I've seen.
Minus: the bathrooms are nicer than the restaurant itself and creepies frequent this location.
Location #2 - Colonial Drive by the executive airport.
There wasn't a definable address listed online for this, but it is located by the Fashion Square Mall, nearby Downtown Orlando and pretty much right by the Orlando Executive Airport.
This Cici's is probably my least favorite. This location doesn't accept credit cards so you have to have cash. Also they do not have any pasta or alfredo sauce (What WILL I dip my breadsticks into??) and the location is filled with horrid fluorescent lighting.
Plus: good food as usual.
Minus: bad lighting, no alfredo sauce, doesn't take credit cards.
Location# 3- International Drive, by Universal.
7437 International Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
This location is very big and also nice inside. It is right next door to one of those great touristy shops with lots of Disney merchandise and keychains. The prices in this location is the most expensive out of the four but they do take credit cards. I don't usually eat the salads at Cici's but one of my friends loves them. Here they have two premade salads, whereas she prefers when Cici's offers a salad bar. Sometimes this location hosts Caricature Artists. There's also an arcade off to the side. Parking can be a problem out front but if you pull around to the back of the location you should be able to find a spot.
Plus: nice inside, takes credit cards, arcade, sometimes Caricature artists are here.
Minus: more expensive than most Cici's, parking can be a problem.
Location #4- Nearby Disney
8586 Palm Pkwy
Orlando, FL 32836
This location is tucked away right down the street from Downtown Disney and Hotel Plaza Blvd. This is my favorite Cici's location out of the four. The price is moderate, inside is clean, the employees are friendly, and of course, there is the lovely alfredo sauce. This location also has a salad bar, if you prefer that. The restaurant itself is a nice size. A lot of Disney cast members frequent this location because they have a special castmember discount program. The one downside to this location is they only take cash.
Plus: nice inside, friendly employees, alfredo sauce.
Minus: Does not take credit cards.
So in my humble opinion, Location 4 is the way to go! Happy Eating!
