Time for Tea ... The Orlando Organic Eco-Attitude Way
I just returned from one of my favorite places, the Dandelion Communitea Cafe. Whether I go for lunch, or to sit for hours drinking delicious organic teas while reading or chatting with others, or to just pick up a little something to bring home I am always pleased! "It's an urban teahouse with an eco-attitude and is focused on organic products, sustainable business practices and a sense of communitea!"
For those of us who enjoy organic vegetarian (or vegan) nutritious fare the cafe is a gold mine! Their menu has a range of sandwiches and salads, freshly prepared, for you to choose from. Everytime I choose the Fluffer Nutter Sandwich I feel like a little kid again! The hummus is by far the best hummus I have had in Orlando, also made fresh daily. The salads are rather large, great for sharing, or taking half home.
There is also an extensive choice of teas and elixir tonics well! All teas are organic loose teas and taste so delicious! The elixir tonics are great to help clear your mind or give you an energy boost, depending on which you choose. This is also a great place to come and relax while enjoying a cup of tea. The ambience is comfortable and relaxing. They also host an evening of drumming every so often as well. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel completely at home.
