The Reptile and Alternative Pet Show

Reptile Display
My family and I had a chance to visit the Reptile and Alternative Pet Show which was held at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida and ended up buying a Ball Python at a very reasonable price ($15.). These Ball Pythons are usually sold at local pet stores for $49. each, so the savings more than covered the Admission fee of $6. per person which included the entry fee to visit the Flamingo Gardens.

The Reptile Show was in a convention hall at Flamingo Gardens, and it had lots of tables and some great bargains on all kinds of reptiles and turtles. There were lots of interesting critters, bugs, skunks, ferrets, rats, mice, various monkeys, flying squirrels, weird rabbits, guinea pigs, Iguanas, all kinds of snakes, turtles, spiders, scorpions, and more!

Lauren is the promoter of Florida's Reptile and Alternative Pet Shows. Lauren is a very nice and friendly person who manages these reptile shows with her husband and daughter to assist her. She can provide lots of information about alternative pets, as she has spent most of her life in the field of herpetology.

Just about everything at this reptile show had great deals compared to any pet stores. Nearly every dealer had one or more animals on display for children and their parents to touch, hold, and carry. From baby snakes to gigantic monitor lizards, just about every kind of critter was getting attention from the many children who were at this show.

The Reptile and Alternative Pet Shows are scheduled in different venues througout the year. The admission prices are usually around five dollars per person. Check their website for more information.Lizard

Those Ball Pythons Are Kept In Unsuitable Housing, The Whole Show is Just Simply Money Making And Cruel.
I Am Appauled At You People Going There And Buying Poor Animals For "Bargains"
Pffffft Animal Lovers.

To Amelia
These shows are held durring the day and snakes sleep and don't move around much if at all during the day. Secondly where do you think pet shops get their snakes? Why would anyone buy from a pet shop? They are there to make money and there animals and reptiles don't get that great of care as one you buy from a priv. person. A priv. person don't to it for the money they do it because they love what they do and love snakes. Why would you as a person want to just spend more for a pet when pet shops aren't the best for them? and why do you feel that you have to spend more on a pet to show you love it? That's just stupid. The more money I can save on my pets is the more money I can spend for other things for them? I also take in any unwanted reptiles. You think seeing as I take the free or injured that I don't love them? If you don't know what your talking about don't talk! You just make yourself look stupid.
