Bodies: The Exhibition in Miami
Yes, body parts from real dead bodies are on display in Miami. And no, it's not gross. Bodies: The Exhibition has been drawing record crowds since it's opening at the Shops at Sunset in December. I went to see it this past Saturday, and I was not disappointed. Both educational and interesting, Bodies is a very unique kind of display. All muscles, bones, tissues and other assorted parts on display are 100% real. The bodies have been treated with special chemicals that allow them to retain their form while preserving their scientific integrity. I've honestly never seen anything like this and I highly reccomend it to anyone - even if you're not normally a museum person or if you don't like anatomy that much. This is a very unique display that is sure to hold your attention.
Sound interesting? Bodies: The Exhibition is in Miami until March 25, open at 10 am every morning and closing down at 10 most nights. On Sundays the exhibit is closed at 9pm and Fridays and Saturdays it's open until 11pm.
