Goodbye '06
Well it’s here! If you don’t have plans for ringing in the new year allow me to make a couple of suggestions.
If you are looking for a classy experience The Brown Palace Hotel's annual New Year’s Eve Gala is as classy as it gets. The whole package includes dinner, champagne, Big Band dancing, a room for two and breakfast on the first. Smaller packages for dinner and dancing, or just dancing are also available.
If you are looking for a more boisterous time, with excellent techno and several hundred of your closest friends, try The Rise. Their traditional New Year’s Eve bash features the acclaimed DJ Fabian (in from San Fran for the event), a complimentary champain toast and dessert bar. Get there early, and be ready to stand in line, but take my word for it, this will be worth it! (Keep a sharp eye, maybe you’ll see me!)
