A word from Howie...
My pal Howie Nave is the host, emcee and opening act at the Improv at Harveys at Lake Tahoe's South Shore. He just sent out the upcoming schedule for the comedy club for the spring, and he's got an upcoming lineup of both new acts and familiar favorites.
Howie sez: "Greetings from the Lake. What with fresh white powder in the Sierras and Super Tuesday just around the corner things have been looking pretty decent. Oh sure the economy is on everyone's mind and if you listen to the media on national television they're as accurate about predicting the economy as say those who predicted the outcome of The New Hampshire Primary. The good news about comedy is that everyone needs to laugh so they can skip the thought of suicide on occasion. So far the acts this year have been anything but recessive and look for some new faces too coming to The Improv in the next few weeks. Gotta keep it fresh."
