Freak out!
"Montbleu Resort presents the 29th Annual Freakers Ball on Saturday, October 27. Doors open up at 8 p.m. and the party goes as long as the partiers can.
The Freakers Ball is being held in the 14,000 sq. ft. Convention Center as well as Blu Nightclub. Drink specials all night and morning long, live band and costume contest with over $10,000.00 in cash and prizes, with celebrity judge, boxing champion "Joey Gilbert".
Tickets are $15 advance / $20 at the door."
Montbleu, in its past incarnation, was Caesars Tahoe, and the Freakers Ball has been one of the highlights of the party-goers' year. The Haunted Tunnel led from the ball to into Club Nero, which may be what Montbleu has in mind with the Blu Nightclub this year.
The Freakers Ball is almost without fail, one of the most anticipated, yet under-market events on the South Shore. Kids' homemade haunted houses seem to get more promotion than the Freakers Ball, but there's always an underground buzz about the party- and it always seems to live up to that buzz.
