March 3, 2007; 2:00 PM. An unusual event pairing Artisan cheese with wine will take place at Landmark Vineyards in Kenwood, Sonoma County. The four cheeses have been specially selected by Colette Hatch, known as "Madame de Fromage."

Wines from California's Sonoma County have been chosen to pair with each of the four cheeses. The cheese and wine descriptions tempt one with mouth-watering images such as, "2004 Overlook Chardonnay; Crisp green apple, lemon rind, roasted nut, carmel" flavors to complement Minuet cheese, which is "Soft-ripened goat milk enriched with cow's milk crème fraiche."
