People line up at 8am Saturday mornings for fresh French-style pastries. Best bakery at the corner of Guerrero and 18th in the Mission.
The best buttermilk scones, pain au chocolate with Scharffen Berger Chocolate and Croque Monsieur (open-face sandwich). Not to mention all the breads, cakes and sandwiches.
It's hard to find parking in this neighborhood, but if you take BART to 16th Street or take J-Church line to Dolores Park, this bakery is a short stroll away.
Expect a wait, but the line moves. It may be hard to get a seat, but take your delicious goodies to the Dolores Park and indulge in a sunny spot.
