Remember that 80's movie "Revenge of the Nerds"? Well, it looks like the nerds may have finally won. Bill Gates practically owns the world, even musicians have to be computer geeks nowadays, and gamers have online worlds like Second Life where they can earn their daily keep, create social networks and virtually live out their lives as the characters they have created.
Gamescape is a store that comes from the days when geeks still had it hard, when your games were physical paper and plastic affairs, and when you had to actually meet your geeky co-players in person somewhere, perhaps somewhere like this.
The store is stacked to the ceiling with every imaginable game, from Monopoly and the ubiquitous Dungeons & Dragons to more obscure titles like Kojak: The Game. For other types of fun, the selection also includes puzzles and video games. In the back of the store, hard-core gamers while away the hours playing the game of the moment.
