Affordable full day at a Napa spa!
Imagine being able to spend an entire day at a Napa Valley spa for $75. We did it. And we'll do it again! A friend of mine had just turned 30, and we wanted a girls outing but we didn't all have $200-$600 to blow on something as unessential as a spa day. So being the genius' we are, we came up with a plan.
In 1861 Sam Brennan created what is now know as Indian Springs. It's situated on 16 acres and 4 natural geysers. It has an Olympic (yes, Olympic) size mineral pool. It's temperature ranges from 92 to 102 degrees and it's use somes free with a stay in their lodgings or a spa treatment. By the way a spa treatment comes free with lodgings!
So, three girls, three unflattering bathingsuits, 60 bucks, appetizers and fancy pizza from Trader Joes and we were set for the day. We hung out sipping cucumber water at their new Buddha pond, we sipped wine and lemonade under the cabana by the mineral pool, and we had an amazing (and silent - YES!) massage.
It was so much fun, we plan to do it on everyone's birthday. Mine's next! However, we are auditioning for friends whose birthdays fall in May or December.....
