Ice Cream Heaven in the Mission

*SNFHSPSFFSSSSSS*

Oh..what??? Ooops...sorry I was lost in stuffing my face with lychee ice cream from Bombay.

I was first brought into this lovely ice cream parlor a few weeks ago by a friend after stuffing our faces full of burritos....mmmmmmmm.....

At first I  was skeptical. I mean come on....the sesame looked like it had been scraped off the bottom of the bbq grill and stirred with some cream and frozen.Gross. The melon looked a little too neon.

BUT.......imagine to my surprise and glee, my 2 tastings of coconut and melon brought me to reality and I was sold--hook, line and sinker.YOWZA!!!!!!
I opted for the coconut in the end because it was just that kind of day.
I just about  giggled with glee at the first creamy taste of coconut on my tongue.Cold, smooth and perfection in a sugar cone.

So tonight I went back...admist the throngs of party goers in the Mission on a Friday night right in the heart of bar central.I must be crazy! But I HAD TO HAVE SOME ICE CREAM FROM BOMBAY.

Lychee was calling my name and come hell or high water I was going to get some.

And I did. And now, I am sitting with a smile on my face, sighing with contentment at my second experience.

So thank you Bombay for not being a ridiculous wait. Your service is quick and efficient and friendly. And your ice cream fabulous.
And at a reasonable price of $2.25 for a huge scoop, you can't be beat!
