JetBlue and New Parking Options at SFO
Customers of JetBlue Airlines flying into the Bay Area haven't had the option of flying into SFO, instead ending up in Oakland. Now, I've got nothing against Oakland, but as a resident of San Francisco, I prefer flying out of and into SFO.
And good news! Starting May 3rd, JetBlue will begin direct service to the East coast with four daily flights to New York's JFK and one daily flight to Boston's Logan airport.
If you're meeting someone upon arrival at SFO, you can make parking a little easier and cheaper by using the new "Cell Phone" parking lot. Located three minutes from the terminal, you (or the person picking you up) can park for free for up to one hour. I guess the idea is when your party arrives (or when you arrive) a simple phone call is all that's needed to dispatch your waiting transportation to the curb.
