Mercury Bar Dishes Out Asian-Inspired Cocktails and Appetizers

If you're staying in one of the many hotels and motels along Lombard Street, or you're just looking for a cool place for cocktails in the Marina/Cow Hollow neighborhood, check out Mercury. It's a small spot with a bright red awning, a long bar, small tables for two, and one of the best appetizer menus in the city. Sip a Thai Basil Gimlet or a "Mangamosa" made with mango liqueur, mango nectar and Champagne, and munch on crispy chili calamari, pork and shrimp lumpia (egg rolls), tamarine glazed short ribs, or Singapore prawns in chili sauce. The flavors pop, the music rocks on, and there are two flat-screen TVs to choose from. Bartender Brandon Clements will make sure your glass stays full and the small plates keep coming.

You can also stop by Mercury for breakfast or brunch and grab a wrap with eggs, sausage, bacon and cheese or a heartier egg scramble, pancakes, or a burger and espesso drinks. Mercury is open every day for brunch and Monday through Saturday for dinner and cocktails.
