We managed to be signed in at the Del just in time for Easter Sunday Brunch. And no, our rooms weren’t one of the Del's "haunted" ones.

As usual, the Brunch was in the Crown Room and it was as elegant as befits this Historical Victorian Hotel.

After Brunch Barb and Julie went straight to the Spa; yesterday had been busy and they were anxious to relax.

They both opted for the Asian-inspired treatment. Direct pressure is applied to points on the feet corresponding to particular areas of the body. The treatment includes a foot massage, a "Deep Tissue Massage" where direct pressure is applied to targeted areas of the body; focusing on the deep layers of the muscle tissue. This is followed up with a "Hot Stone Massage". This treatment utilizes heat from hot stones to penetrate muscle tissue and induce deep relaxation.

My Dinner recommendation... try the Chili dusted Shrimp cocktail and tequila spiked cocktail sauce for an appetizer; followed by Pan Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, fingerling potatoes, wild mushrooms, and red wine demi. I concur with the chef's suggested wine: Robert Mondovi chardonnay.

The Wines and Dinner menus are comparable with some of the best in the world; be sure and visit if you are in the area, if not, plan a trip, you won't be disappointed, promise.

As always; in pursuit of service and elegance.

Bon Appétit
