Sacramento Watch/Clock Collectors Make Time For Their Passion Of Time


For the past 35 years, members of the Sacramento chapter of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) have gathered to buy and sell and discuss the world as it revolves around watches, clocks and horology, the study of timekeeping.

Sacramento Artists Exhibit at City Hall Through March 10th


On display in the lobby of the Sacramento City Hall, "The Streets of Sacramento" exhibit features photos, sketches, and paintings reflecting impressions of neighborhood buildings, bridges, landmarks and roadways in and around the city.

 A part of the Art in Public Places program, the group show is presented through the Metropolitan Arts Commission and runs until March 10, 2007.

Second Amgen Tour Of California Includes Sacramento Capitol Stage Finish


The second Amgen Tour of California will be held Feb. 18-25 and will feature a course of more than 650 miles that will extend from San Francisco to Long Beach.

29th Jed Smith Ultra Classic Begins Sacramento-Area Ultramarathon Season


The Jed Smith Ultra Classic, now in its 29th year, is scheduled Saturday, Feb. 4 at Gibson Ranch in Elverta, just north of Sacramento.
