Mountain Man Traders' Faire and Historic Pioneer Demonstration Days, Sutter’s Fort
In its 15th year, this is a really fun event. Vendors, toys, food, everything harkens back to the late 19th century. Take your kids and check it out. http://www.parks.ca.gov/events/event_detail.asp?id=1767

Highland Scottish Days, Yolo County Fairgrounds, Woodland
Does this really need explaining? JUST GO. http://www.saccaledonian.org/

BockBierfest, Turn Verein Hall
This annual event is held early in April. It's a big party/celebration of Germany --- beer mainly, but also dance, music and food. GREAT FOOD. Sausages are amazing. Beers are fabulous. Music too. Check it out but get a designated driver. http://www.newsreview.com/sacramento/Content?oid=oid%3A11571
