Nobile Saw Works: It's The Sharpest Place In Sacramento


Several years ago, I was given an electronic pole saw with the unusual brand name "Woodzig." Used properly, it can reduce the expense of commercial tree-trimming services to a job even a non-handyman like me can handle without great sacrifice.

Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Sacramento


Come celebrate the Year of the Pig with the Chinese New Year Culture Association and Sacramento State University.  This year's celebration will be held at Sac State's University Union on February 3rd from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Aerospace Museum of CA opens at Sacramento's McClellan Park


TomcatThe newly chartered Aerospace Museum of California opens to the public in Sacramento on February 3rd.  It features over two dozen aircraft, including the Tomcat pictured here. Volunteers have been working since 2005 to create interactive exhibits and make ready the 37,000 sq. ft. building housing the displays.
