Celebrate President's Day at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park
Characters from the past will make history come alive for young and old alike on Monday, February 19th. Visit with George and Martha Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Paul Revere, Native Americans, and other historic figures in period dress. View demonstrations of gold-panning, horseshoeing, weaving, and other activities. The Sons of the American Revolution, the California Consolidated Fife & Drum Band, the Civil War Association, and the California Railroad Museum will also provide representatives to make the event educational and entertaining.
