Amoz Oz, Israeli Novelist, Speaks at Stanford Tonight
Israeli novelist Amos Oz will deliver the Taube Center's annual endowed lecture tonight, Monday, January 22, 8 p.m. at Stanford University in Kresge Auditorium. The lecture is in English and is open to the public. Oz's most recent work is the memoir A Tale of Love and Darkness.
Born in Jerusalem in 1939, Oz is well-known as one of Israel's most outstanding writers (he was awarded the Israel Prize for Literature in 19 
and a leading proponent of the peace movement.
