Arastradero Park Preserve
One place that is nearby and good for a hike this time of year is Arastradero Park Preserve at 1530 Arastradero Road, 1/4 mile north of Page Mill Road. This week Vice-Mayor Yoriko Kishimoto was elected unanimously by the Palo Alto City Council to be the new major. Kishimoto becomes the ninth woman to serve as mayor and the first Asian-American to serve as mayor in the city's history.
Kishimoto replaces outgoing Mayor Judy Kleinberg.
