Gourmet Mexican Food with a Casual Atmosphere- Taco Rosa, Newport Beach CA
Enchiladas de Congrejo (crab enchiladas) is my perennial order when I sit down to eat at Taco Rosa. Taco Rosa is truly a hidden gem. Though a little off the beaten path the cozy atmosphere and delicious meals of savory Mexican food have yet to be bested by any other Mexican restaurant I've found here in the O.C. (and there are quite a few).
No reservations are needed, just some time to sit back and enjoy a great meal. Don't forget to try the aguas frescas (fresh juice), tamales (bar none delicious) and of coarse a margarita or two. Sunday brunch includes a tower of liquid chocolate...mmm.
