Bowers Museum, Santa Anna CA
Enjoy all day entertainment (10 am to 4 pm) at the opening of the Dorothy and Donald Kennedy wing at the Bowers Museum in Santa Anna, Sunday February 18th.
The Bowers Museum is one of only 750 museums in America accredited by the American Association of Museums, and is the only museum in the United States to partner with the British Museum.
The opening of the Dorothy and Donald Kennedy wing, or North wing ushers in two new exhibits: "Ansel Adams: Classic Images," and "Treasures from Shanghai: 5,000 Years of Chinese Art and Culture."
Entertainment throughout the day includes a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. followed by a lecture at 11 a.m. "Chinese Civilization and Ancient Chinese Art" given by Chen Kelun, the deputy director of the Shanghai Museum. Chinese music, folk dancers and classical guitar performances will be held throughout the day. Admission is free.
